MinutroTerms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Realmbit, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Realmbit", "we", "us"), about your use of the Minutro app ("Minutro", "the app"). By installing or using Minutro, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.
1. Using Minutro
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Minutro on Android devices you own or control, for your personal or work use, under these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
You may not copy, resell, rent or redistribute the app; remove or work around its purchase checks; or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this despite this restriction or an open-source license that applies to part of the app allows it.
2. Recording other people
You are responsible for how you use Minutro. Many countries and US states require the consent of some or all people before a conversation is recorded, and some laws treat voiceprints as biometric information that needs consent. Before you record, and before you save someone's voice with voice recognition, make sure you have any consent the law requires. Don't use Minutro to record people secretly or unlawfully.
3. Your content
Your recordings, transcripts, notes and other content belong to you. They stay on your device, and we receive no rights to them. You're responsible for keeping copies of what matters to you, for example with Minutro's backup and export features: if you lose your phone or uninstall the app, we can't recover your data.
4. AI output
Transcripts, speaker labels, recognized voices, summaries, action items, emails and chat answers are produced automatically by AI models. They can be incomplete or wrong: words may be misheard, speakers mixed up, people misidentified, and notes may include things that weren't said. Check anything important against the recording. Minutro isn't a medical, legal, financial or other professional service, and its output isn't professional advice, even when a template is made for that kind of conversation.
5. Minutro Premium
- Purchase: Premium is a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. The price is shown in the app before you buy. It isn't a subscription and doesn't renew.
- What it includes: the features marked as Premium in the app and on this website at the time of purchase, and any we add to Premium later at no extra cost. We may change or remove individual features, for example when a model or Android version stops supporting them, but we won't take away Premium itself.
- Trial: the first 5 recordings you make or import include every Premium feature, and keep them after the trial ends.
- Payment and refunds: Google Play handles payment, and refunds follow Google Play's refund policies, as well as any rights you have under your local consumer law. A refunded purchase removes Premium.
- Other devices: Premium is available on your devices signed in to the same Google account. Use "Restore purchase" in the app after reinstalling.
6. AI models and open-source software
Minutro downloads AI models from Hugging Face and uses open-source software. These are made by other people and are provided under their own licenses, which apply alongside these terms. Some model licenses, such as those for Llama and Gemma, include acceptable-use policies; by choosing such a model in the app, you agree to follow its policy. We aren't responsible for the availability of third-party downloads.
7. Updates and availability
We may update Minutro to fix problems, add features or keep up with Android, and we may stop offering the app. Features that run on your phone keep working with the models you've downloaded, but we can't promise that the app will run on every device or Android version.
8. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, Minutro is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that recordings or data won't be lost.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Realmbit won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, recordings, profits or business, arising from your use of Minutro, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim about Minutro is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim, or US $10 if that's more.
Some places don't allow these exclusions or limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived by contract.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using Minutro at any time by uninstalling it. If you seriously break these terms, your license to use the app ends. Sections 3, 4 and 8 to 11 continue to apply after that.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the consumer law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring them in your local courts or under your local law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Minutro after that, the new terms apply.
